Terms & Conditions

These Terms and conditions must be agreed to by parents and dancers before attending class.

  • Once class is booked no refunds will be made, if BDC cancel a class fees will be credited to a future class.
  • Class fees must be paid before attending.
  • Do not attend class if you have COVID symptoms or have been asked to self isolate.
  • Parents / guardians drop off outside church with staff member.
  • Arrive 5 mins before your class.
  • Pupils must attend classes each week and arrive on time - late coming disrupts the rest of the class.
  • Consistent lateness or absence will mean no participation in performances or the show.
  • If your child is leaving early, on their own or with another adult you must let us know.
  • There is no waiting area for dancers or parents.
  • Dancers should attend class in uniform, bring dance shoes & baton, water and a small snack (if attending several classes.)
  • Do not bring any toys / jewellery or phones to class.
  • Please let us know in advance if possible if you cannot make class, whether this is pre planned or due to illness.
  • We hope you decide to stay with BDC, if for any reason you won't be attending classes again you must let us know so we can cancel your Class4kids payments or they will continue to come out of your account.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO

Photos and videos will be taken regularly during class and / or performances by BDC and will be used for advertising and on our social media platforms. If you do not wish your child to be in our photos / videos you must let us know.

UNIFORM & APPEARANCE

Wearing a uniform creates a sense of identity and belonging within the dance school. The uniform has been created as a safe and practical outfit to dance in and enables our coaches to see the dancer’s alignment, lines and positioning to allow them to make proper corrections when needed. It is recommended you purchase uniform after your first month of classes.

Hair tied back and out of face. It is especially important for hair to be in a low bun for acro as dancers could step on their own long hair / pony tail when practising skills.

No jewellery to be worn to dance class - small stud earrings are acceptable.  

All pupils should wear BDC T-shirt & plain black leggings or plain black jogging bottoms.

All pupils to wear correct shoes for style of dance. All styles accept ballet - Caramel slip on jazz shoes. Tap - Black tap shoes. Ballet - Pink leather ballet shoes for girls and black leather ballet shoes for boys.

Black sleeveless leotard recommended for all pupils.

Starlite and pre-school pupils may wear a pink ballet skirt OVER their leggings.

You can order your BDC T-shirt and sweatshirt by emailing us which size is required and making payment via bank transfer.

If you need to contact us during classes the best way to do this is through Facebook, please bear in mind we are not always available to pick these up right away. Please don't contact Colette's mobile number as this may be missed.

We must have an up to date registration form for your child to participate in any of our classes. Please make sure we have the correct mobile number for you for emergencies. It is important we have an email address for you so we can let you know of any events, class changes etc.
